I always travel with a silk scarf on! It makes travel feel more fun and fancy. And I tie a much less important one firmly around the handle of my luggage so that I can easily spot it from afar!
I think you read my mind! My number one search term on Pinterest is "90s airport fashion" but when I see the results, I always wonder how people sit on a plane with jeans for so long. I do it occasionally when flying across Europe because the flights are generally short but long haul?! No, thank you haha. I often opt for pants made from a silky material. And a sweater that is warm but not thick is key for me. The reason for the "not thick" is that I want to be able to stuff it in my bad if need be without the bag overflowing.
Omg, yes! That's exactly what inspired me to write the issue. I couldn't imagine putting myself through a long-haul flight wearing jeans! I agree with the sweater sentiment. I prefer to go for layers that I can easily throw on or take off. 🧡
saving these as just outfit inspo bc my airport outfit is head to toe all yoga and hokas haha but I do put on a leather jacket sometimes bc it may be the heaviest and biggest thing I own
Honestly, that sounds so comfy hahah. I used to wear Doc Martens to the airport all the time to reduce the weight of my suitcase. But because the seats in economy are so cramped, I never had enough room to bend down and untie my massive clodhoppers so I would be stuck wearing them the entire flight. 😭
Love the idea of a silk scarf to elevate your travel look!

I guess the silk pijamas are only for those who aren’t flying economy
I only fly economy. 😊
